Marathon, Marathon 2: Durandal, and Marathon Infinity VR apps for Meta Quest.
> Last updated: 24 July 2026
This privacy policy applies to the Marathon, Marathon 2: Durandal, and Marathon Infinity virtual-reality applications (the “Apps”) published for Meta Quest headsets. We have designed these Apps to collect as little information as possible. In short: the Apps do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to us or to any third party for our benefit.
None that leaves your device. The Apps have no user accounts, no login, no advertising, and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not operate servers that receive data from the Apps, and we do not build user profiles.
Like any game, the Apps save data on your device so the game works between sessions. This data stays on your headset and is not sent to us:
You can remove all of this data at any time by uninstalling the App from your headset.
If you choose to play online or local multiplayer, the Apps establish a direct network connection between players. To make that connection work, standard network information — such as your device's IP address and the player name you have chosen — is shared with the other participants in that game session and with any game-listing/gathering service you connect to. This is inherent to how networked multiplayer functions and is used only to route the game session. We do not collect or retain this information ourselves. If you only play the single-player campaign, no network connection is made.
The Apps are distributed through the Meta Horizon Store and run on Meta Quest hardware. Meta Platforms, Inc. operates the store, your device, and your Meta account, and Meta may collect information under its own policies (for example, download and purchase records, and system-level usage data). That collection is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy, not by us, and is outside our control. Please review Meta's policy to understand how the platform handles your data.
The Apps are not directed at children, and because they collect no personal information, we do not knowingly collect any information from children. Age eligibility for Meta Quest accounts is governed by Meta.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information, because we do not collect it. There are no advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics providers integrated into the Apps.
If the Apps ever change in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
