Powered by open source

Built on Aleph One

In 2000 Bungie released the Marathon 2 source code to the community, and the volunteer Aleph One project has kept the trilogy alive and playable on modern hardware ever since — for over two decades. These VR editions build directly on that open-source engine, adding a full stereoscopic renderer, six-degrees-of-freedom head and hand tracking, and a native Meta Quest build, while preserving the original game data exactly as it shipped.

Play with new 3D weapons, motion-controlled aiming with two-handed grip, customisations for th VR interface.
